Bush and Christie atop GOP presidential poll

Former Florida governor Jeb BushA recent CNN/ORC poll has establishment Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie far ahead of the pack and, in fact, gaining since the same poll was taken in November. Jeb Bush saw the largest gain going from 14% to 23%. Chris Christie remained second going from 9% to 13%.  The poll included the following names: Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Mike Pence, Rick Perry, Rob Portman, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, or Scott Walker.

Interviews with 1,011 adult Americans conducted by telephone by ORC International on December 18-21, 2014. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
The sample includes 660 interviews among landline respondents and 351 interviews among cell phone respondents.
