Donald Trump 2016: The Kochs freeze him out – POLITICO

The Koch brothers are freezing out Donald Trump from their influential political operation — denying him access to their state-of-the-art data and refusing to let him speak to their gatherings of grass-roots activists or major donors.

Despite a long and cordial relationship between the real estate showman and David Koch, as well as a raft of former Koch operatives who are now running Trump’s presidential campaign, the Koch political operation appears to have concluded that Trump is the wrong standard-bearer for the GOP. And the network of Koch-backed policy and political outfits is using behind-the-scenes influence to challenge Trump more forcefully than the Republican Party establishment — by limiting his access to the support and data that would help him translate his lead in the polls into a sustainable White House campaign.

Will Trump be Trumped By The Koch Brothers?
    By Louis A. DeFreitas, Sr.
Donald Trump has told the world that he should be President of the United States because he did well at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League University, and because he has earned ten billion dollars. His measurement of success is based on graduating from the “right school” and on the amount of money one earned.
Using Trump’s measurements it is easy to see that Donald Trump is no match for either Charles Koch or his younger brother David Koch. The two brothers are reported to be strongly against Donald Trump winning the Republican nomination to run for President of the United States. If the reports are true, Trump may be trumped by the billionaires who have serious academic credentials from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Many graduates of MIT have been highly rated among the best scientist in the world.
Fordham, U of Penn, and MIT
After spending two years at Fordham University in New York City, Donald Trump transferred to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Trump earned a BS degree in economics and anthropology. He then began his career. Donald Trump tells us that he is now worth ten billion dollars. Forbes Magazine estimates Donald Trump’s wealth at four billion dollars. This means that Trump’s wealth is at least equaled to four thousand million dollar bills.
Charles Koch graduated from MIT, earning a B.S. in general engineering, a M.S. in mechanical engineering, and a M.S. in chemical engineering. It is reported by Forbes that Charles Koch is worth about 40 billion dollars. This means that Charles Koch’s wealth is equaled to forty thousand million dollar bills.
David Koch graduated from MIT, earning a B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering. David Koch was also a star basketball player at MIT, averaging 21 points a game for three years. He scored 41 points in one game, a school record that lasted from 1962 to 2009. It is reported by Forbes that David Koch is also worth about 40 billion dollars. David Koch’s wealth is equaled to the wealth of his brother, Charles.
    Donald Trump insults President Obama
Donald Trump is using his two years at an Ivy League college as evidence of his brilliance. President Obama attended Occidental College, Columbia University, and Harvard Law School. President Obama earned degrees from Columbia University and Harvard Law School and Donald Trump has told the world that President Obama is not bright. President Obama has five years attending Ivy League colleges, earning an undergraduate degree (B.A.) and a graduated degree(J.D.). Trump spent two years at an Ivy League college, earning an undergraduate degree. President Obama has also been elected President of the United States twice. Donald Trump has yet to be even nominated by a party to be its candidate to run for President. Using Trump’s measurement President Obama’s academic credentials and professional achievements outshines the credentials of Donald Trump.
    Trump and the Koch Brothers
Both the Koch brothers, using Donald Trump’s measurements for success, have more than outshined Donald Trump. Each has earned four times the amount of money that Donald Trump claims to have earned and each has academic credentials that are much more impressive than Donald Trump’s academic credentials.
Donald Trump has been insulting many of the candidates who are running for the Republican nomination. He has accused Rick Perry of having a low IQ. Trump has insulted Lindsay Graham. He has also insulted Jeb Bush’s intelligence.
We shall see what he does with Rick Perry in the Texas Primary, Lindsay Graham in the South Carolina Primary and Jeb Bush in the Florida Primary. Donald Trump is leading in national polls, but you have to win primaries to become the nominee. Trump should look at what happened to his fellow New Yorker in the primaries. Rudy Giuliani was leading in the polls and he could not win one primary.
Will Donald Trump beat the Koch brothers? This is going to be interesting to watch. This weekend, the weekend of August 8, 2015, the Koch brothers are interviewing some candidates who are running for the Republican nomination. At as of this writing, Donald Trump is not invited.
In the 2012 election for president over two billion dollars was spent. Now that the Republican Primaries for the 2016 race has pitted a billionaire against two billionaires the price of the presidency has gone up. The money fight and the intellectual fight between Donald Trump and Koch Brothers will be interesting to watch.

    Excellent writing Louis.
Don’t worry, his moment will end. Even if the clown conservatives and idiot Tea Party make him their nominee, he will be destroyed in the national election.
